Dennis Shafer, Aaron Hunt and I took Aaron's van on tour to Medicine hat - the inspiration was to help Dennis's friend brand some of his cattle and get out of the rainy Elk Valley.

Grab em - flip em - hold em - brand em, tag em, give em a shot, and if they aren't the lucky half - snip their boys off.

Early into the evening Aaron, who was pretty fresh to the farm scene, became inspired to go full on and ride a bull in a nearby field.  After a few comments to the rest of the party everyone got excited about this - the aussie is gonna do what,  ride a bull,  wow that is such a good idea. 

The bulls wouldn't let us even get close - so Aaron tried Dave's horse that has yet to be ridden.  we all got pretty excited about this new "good idea."

She was a little mellower than we were hoping for,  but Aaron did last his full 8 seconds

Dennis took this idea and hopped on the donkey,  he got a bit more spirited ride and made about 4 seconds.

Today I went on a mission with Carmen from The Green Petal, a flower shop here in Fernie.   Not just here in Fernie,  but its a sweet flowershop directly under my house and studio.    Anyways, Carmen wanted to show the world how nice her flowers are, so she conscripted Carly(the bride) and Ava(make up) to play along.

Sweet spot to go camping at eh.   it actually was though even though it was a lil swampy

Finally got my bike on the road and am now able to ride it so I went for an afternoon tour.  Ended up not too far from here on the access road to Coal Mtn Mine.

Island Lake Lodge, a cat ski lodge here in Fernie, puts on a photo competition every year.  This year I got to play in it, I got to shoot a few local rippers for three days and then you cross your fingers that you won something rad.   My crew was Aaron Dunn, Mikel Witlox, and Shannon Whalen.  Instead of uploading 80 million photo;s I am posting a slideshow of the photo's
